Russia signs pact for supplying tech for Kudankulam nuclear power plant
Russian Nuclear Unit Rosatom State Corporation has signed an agreement to supply thermocouple for four electricity units from the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP) in Tamil Nadu, according to the Economic Times report.
Luch Scientific Production Association, which is part of science and innovation, R&D Rosatom units will provide a new sensor designed for thermal control of NPP process equipment, which will replace the old in the internal reactor control system Unit 1 and 2 from the KNPP, the report said.
