Kamala Harris Meets China’s Xi In Bangkok. Here’s What She Said
Chinese President Xi Jinping and US Vice President Kamala Harris called for open communication during a brief meeting on Saturday, days after his expansive addresses with President Joe Biden.Harris spoke to the Chinese leader as they entered a retreat in Bangkok during a peak of the Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation( APEC) forum, a White House functionary said.
The Vice President corroborated Biden’s communication that” we must maintain open lines of communication to responsibly manage the competition between our countries”, the functionary said on condition of obscurity.
