‘Halt and Catch Fire’ will be removed from Netflix in December 2021.
One of the top series on Netflix in the United States is poised to leave the service shortly. All four seasons, totaling 40 episodes, are scheduled to end on December 14th, 2021.
The AMC drama premiered in 2014 and lasted four years before being canceled. It relates the tale of the creation of some of the computer components and software that altered the globe in the early 1990s. The sitcom was developed by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers and stars Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Kerry Bishé, and Toby Huss.
The series is frequently recognized as some of the finest television made in the twenty-first century. BBC Culture, for example, named it in the top 50. We even included it in our comprehensive list of the best 50 Netflix TV Series.

The series premiered on Netflix in April 2015, and fresh seasons were added every year after that, with two seasons arriving in 2017. Halt and Touch Fire’s last season premiered on Netflix on December 15th, 2017, and it’s now poised to depart after four years.
As the rights for various series expire, AMC material on Netflix has been exiting in a dramatic way over the last several years. For example, we’ve witnessed the cancellation of Hell on Wheels (which will end in December 2020), Mad Men (which will end in June 2020), and TURN Washington’s Spies (which will end in June 2020).
The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Into The Badlands, and Better Call Saul will be the only series remaining in the US after Halt and Catch Fire.
The Billion Dollar Code, a program very much in the same ballpark, was just introduced to Netflix. The idea of the series is similar in that it recounts the early days of the internet. The series, which is produced in Germany, depicts an artist and a hacker suing Google for allegedly infringing on their patent. Fans of Halt and Catch Fire should definitely watch it.
Where will Halt and Catch Fire be available to watch next?
The program is distributed by AMC Networks, so our best guess is that it will become exclusive to AMC+, but it’s unknown whether the show would also be available on other streaming services.
